When the world went into lockdown I think most people dream of the day when everyone can go back outside--freely and safely. Being forced to stay at home isn't in anyone's list of their favorite things that happened in 2020 (if such a list exists). But as an Arashi fan, this Kamishibai is one of the things (a by-product of the lockdown) that kept me sane throughout that period of isolation. Which is why it was such a bummer that they had to put an end to its run.

With that being said, I'd like to write about my favorite episode from all the eight picturebook story-time they had, which is the first episode, "The Three Little Pigs".  🤗

Since it's their first one, most of the video consists not with the actual storytelling. 😅 I particularly liked how they discussed about how they would go on assigning roles to each member. The ladder lottery is amusing to watch especially with the elaborate instructions of Jun while Nino and Sho make comments on the side.

For two months now I have been in this journey as an Arashi fan. It's definitely not much compared to those who have been in the fandom for 10 or more years. But since then, my life has never been the same because of this five-men group.

Here, I want to share how ARASHI influenced me in so many ways:

  •  I look forward to each and everyday knowing that I'll wake up in a world where there is Arashi. They may be going on hiatus at the end of this year but knowing that they exist and doing what they have decided to do with their lives makes me want to look forward to the days of my life as well. *cue in A day in Our Life*

  • They made me realize that it is possible to remain friends despite individual differences as long as you have one goal. What they wanted to achieve when they debuted in 1999 was to be on top. Fast-forward to twenty years and their dream came true; not without hardships of course but they endured until they arrive to where they are now. One key ingredient to their success I think is their mutual love and respect for each other. That's why after twenty years still they sing A-RA-SHI (for dream) *cue in A-RA-SHI*

Ari here! I'm an arashi fan and new to the fandom. :)

I first came to know about the group because of MatsuJun. I came across him in Gokusen as Shin Sawada and I was smitten. 😍
